Terms of Service
Rest assured; your satisfaction is our first priority. In fact, we treat your laundry to the highest sanitary care possible. There are rules that we must agree upon to meet our core values thus to ensure that there are no misunderstandings about Tan Coin Laundry LLC.'s (referred to as "we," "us," "our", or "Tan Coin Laundry LLC") or your obligations. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept the following Terms and Conditions.
Suitability for Laundering
By using our service, you agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in water, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We cannot be responsible for any damages to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundering process. Similarly, we reserve the right to refuse to service items that we feel will be hazardous to our employees, such as items heavily soiled with human or animal waste and other object that may cause harm to our employees. This is for the health and safety of our team.
Damaged Laundry
We will do everything we can to avoid damaging your laundry. Unfortunately, there are limitations to what we can do. For example, we don't have time to check your pockets to see if you have left anything in them. Therefore, we can’t promise to return or find any value like wedding rings, bracelets, or anything else, in your pocket, even though you have notified us before we launder your clothes. You cannot hold us responsible for any damage to your laundry because of lipstick, chewing gum, or a pen left in your pockets.
All laundering processes, regardless of how gentle, cause normal wear and tear on clothing. As a result, we cannot be responsible for any wear and tear of laundry, including loss of buttons, fading, fatiguing, bleeding, cuts, holes, or abrasions. Similarly, we reserve the right to decline cleaning any particular piece of laundry if we think it will lead to trouble.
Cleaning and drying laundry also creates other risks. We do not individually examine every garment prior to placing it in the laundry. Therefore, you are responsible to identify and remove "dry-clean only," and all other unsuitable items for common washing and drying techniques from our service laundry bags.
We wash all items together as our standard procedure. But if you divide your clothes into two separate bags before our pick-up, we can run two separate loads. This incurs a minimum charge per load no matter how small the load is.
Note:
We do not have ability to separate your clothes according to your requestes. If you desired to wash your clothes according to care instructions, we ask you to sort them out to avoid overwhelming our staff and any misunderstandings between you and our staffs. We will not responsible for what is/are in each load. Along the same lines, we can't be held responsible for the re-disposition of colors (aka bleeding) or dimensional changes (shrinking or stretching). It is crucial that you remove all special care “hand wash only” and “dry clean only” clothes from our service laundry bags. Our staff are not trained to launder special care clothes: .“hand wash only” and “dry clean only”. It is your best interest to contact your local dry cleaner for assistance in laundering these type of clothes.
Lost Laundry
We monitor and take extra steps to care and to prevent losing your laundry. Unfortunately, it is cost-prohibitive for us to do so. As a result we can't be held responsible for any lost laundry; we simply have no efficient way of verifying that we actually received any particular piece of laundry in the first place. We eagerly want to earn your trust and carefully track your clothes. We can promise you that all bags are labelled with your name, counted and tied together until it is process. We also weigh your laundry before and after we precession them. We ensure that your clothes will never be lost in our facility. However, we have to untie and open your laundry bag to start our laundering process: wash and dry. We prevent the loss of your laundry by double checking ourselves when we remove clothes from washer to dryer and from dryer to folding table. We also check and verify if any of your clothes fell off from our laundry carts and folding tables with our security cameras. If you do believe you are missing something from your delivery, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your clean clothes — we are much more likely to find misplaced laundry if it is reported early. You will not hold Tan Coin Laundry LLC liabile within this time frame.
DRY CLEANING
Tan Coin Laundry will not accept any dry cleaning or hand washing machine items. We could recommend you of a dry cleaner service if you need assistance in doing so.
General Terms for All Services
Scheduling and Payment
If you no longer want our service, simply let us know and we will cancel it at no additional charge. Although we truly hope you are satisfied with our services, once we have laundered your clothes, we cannot offer a refund. To make life simpler, we round to the nearest pound when weighing your laundry to determine if you have met the required minimum weight. Our weights are final. If you have not met the minimum weight, we will promptly notify you of our minimum charge requirements. We strongly believe that our beloved customers will pay our staff for services they provided. However, we reserve the right to hold your laundry hostage until we are paid in full if our customers refusing to pay for our services. You can send us any amount of laundry you choose, but any loads weighing less than our requirements of 20 pounds will be charged our minimum price charge as 20 pounds of our requirements weight plus a $10.00 delivery fee if any for pickup and delivery services. You have no obligation to our appointment pickup and deliver time. We ask you to let us know 2 hours prior to the start of your delivery window, so if you don't have any laundry for us to wash on a particular week, please be sure to notify us 2 hours before your appointment time so we don't come to your address and charge you a no-show fee.
Pick-up and Delivery Scheduling
Tan Coin Laundry LLC provides pick-up and delivery service with $10.00 Fee and $30.00 minimum requirement. For a larger quantity of 100 pound or more We will waive the $10.00 pickup and delivery fee. We are particularly proud of our business and hope that our pick-up and delivery service is part of the reason you have decided to use us. There are, however, circumstances when we may be unable to pickup and delivery your laundry on time due to road hazards like accidents, snow, torrential rain, or all other unforeseen events. We will notify you of our circumstances as it’s arrived. We reserve the right to pick-up and deliver your laundry whenever safe and convenience to our staff. We promise to do our best to pick-up your laundry at the agreed time. We know that time is critical and it’s not convenient to our beloved customers if we are late. That being said, we can't be held accountable if we are late for unforeseen circumstances like road hazards. Similarly, we hope that you will strive to be on-time for our deliveries. If you do miss a pick-up or delivery, we will try to coordinate an alternate time as soon as possible. To prevent laundry errors, all services must be tied to an appointment. If we are coming to your house for a delivery and you have additional dirty laundry that you would like to be picked up, please schedule an additional pickup online or notify Customer Care at least 1 hour before your scheduled service. A No Show is when we show up to your door, but you and your laundry aren't around. In the case of a No Show, we reserve the right to charge a $10.00, No Show fee. Keep in mind, there's no fee if you cancel or reschedule more than 1 hour before the start of your delivery window. And because we value your time just as much, we will credit you $10.00 if our driver shows up late. No questions asked
Unattended Pick-up and Delivery
If you request that we leave your laundry unattended (e.g., on your porch, in a hallway, or in your foyer) or with a third party like a doorman or a neighbor, we are not responsible for your laundry before we have picked it up or after we have dropped it off. You also agree that our records of pick-up and drop-off times are true and accurate. We use ALL FREE AND CLEAR laundry detergent for all our personal laundry customers. If you desire others brand like Earth Brand or Seventh Generation brand laundry detergents, we ask you to provide your own detergent. However, we do wash clothes in shared washing machines where other detergents may have been used, and it is possible that small amounts of other detergents, which may not be hypoallergenic, may not be completely rinsed out of these washing machines.
Miscellaneous
As our business changes, we may want to modify some of terms in this agreement. Therefore, we encourage you to check back frequently to familiarize yourself with any changes. Although we are generally agreeable people, we recognize that Tan Coin Laundry LLC and you may have a dispute. In this event, you agree that any legal action pertaining to this agreement, or Tan Coin Laundry LLC generally, shall be conducted in the Courts of the Commonwealth of South Carolina.
Waiver
Tan Coin laundry LLC services are provided subject to your compliance and acceptance with the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read the following agreement.
Terms of Service
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for clothing items that bleed, shrinks, or otherwise changes as a result of normal washing.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for lost articles unless proven that we were responsible for the loss.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC accepts all laundered garments on the basis of weight and does not perform a piece-by-piece count.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for any items left in our store over 5 days.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for damage to items labeled “hand wash only” or “dry clean only” and is not responsible for checking for these labels in customers’ clothing items.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC only service on normal wash, dry and fold garments. If you have garment for dry cleaning to pickup, please contact dry cleaners for their service. Please identify and remove any “dry clean only” or “hand wash only” item (s) out from our service laundry bag and set aside for dry cleaner instead.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money, jewelry, ink pen, markers, lip balm or anything else as result from our launder. Cusomers agrees to removed such items from clothes before drop-off or pick-up service.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended for pick-up or drop-off by Customers.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC will not leave any bags unattended unless we receive written requested.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC reserves the right to refuse customers or refuse cleaning any item.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC does not guarantee removal of all stains.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC will not guarantee the removal of pests such as scabies, bed bugs, mites, fleas or any such contagious parasites or insects from your car, home and office. You must hire a professional Pest control to clean and sanitize your home, car and office. Laundering your clothes only makes your clothes free from pests' infestation for that time. Customers with bedbugs infested clothes must notify us and must pay for extra wash and extra dry for sanitary reasons.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC at its sole discretion may reimburse clients for loss or damages clothing in an amount to be determined by TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC. Regardless of brand or condition of your laundry, your claim cannot exceed 5 times the total cost you paid us for our services. EX: We will not pay you more than $100.00 in total if you paid us $20.00 to launder your laundry. We use incoming weight and outgoing weight to determine if there is/are item(s) lost or not. We also use our security camera to track down your laundry if in doubt. Customers must notify TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC within 2 business days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitutes waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC liability under this agreement shall be limited to general money damages in an amount not to exceed the charges for the term of service paid by Customer in the term under which the damages are alleged to have occurred. This liability shall be the extent of TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC liability regardless of the form in which any legal or equitable action may be brought and the foregoing shall constitute Customers exclusive remedy. In no event will TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC be held liable or be responsible for any consequential, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive loss or damages whether or not TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC knew or should have known of the likelihood of any loss or damages.
TAN COIN LAUNDRY LLC disclaims all warranties express or implied with respect to the services rendered under this agreement. Customer must pay the invoice charges prior to delivery of laundry. The invoice can be made available prior to drop off by via phone, email, or text. This agreement and any documents referred to herein constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agreement between the parties, may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties, and shall be governed by the state of South Carolina, which it operates.
